When it comes to choosing ladies coats, it is not just about getting a coat that you think looks pretty; but in fact, a coat that is practical, waterproof and stylish at the same time. And here at Alexandra’s of Keswick we think we have found just the right coat for you. Introducing the new Seasalt Three Seasons Coat!
The new Seasalt Three Seasons Coat is perfect for autumn, winter and spring, hence its new name. This coat is quilted and in a soft peachy material that will keep you dry and warm, without looking like a typical waterproof coat.
Falling to the knee with a vibrant pink lining and internal waist cord it draws in for a flattering fit look. There are two front pockets with button fastenings as well as two ‘hand warmer’ style pockets.
It’s all about coveted coats this season and we’ve got a Sea salt coat for all seasons, shapes and sizes. Visit our store in Keswick or shop online today!
The Seasalt Tamarisk Aran Cardigan is a classic chunky knit. They are available in two colours – a Silver Grey as well as Cedar Green. The Silver Grey colour is a very verstile colour which goes with almost everthing as well as being complementatry to most skin tones. The dark Cedar Green colour is eyecatching since it is an unusual colour. We just love them since they are perfect for feeling lovely and warm on a cold winters day!
To make room for the lovely new Sea salt Spring range we have had to put them onto sale and they are a genuine bargain. Especially since Seasalt is continuing the Tamarisk Style for next Autumn/Winter (we have already ordered them!!). They were £85 and we have reduced them by £20 to just £65.00 including FREE UK P&P.
Aran knitwear is renound for the textured knitting style used and the sea salt Tamarisk Cardigan certainly has a lovely texture. They are 100% lambswool and so very warm and durable.
For those who prefer a sweater to a cardigan the the Sea salt Levee Jumper may be just what you are looking for. It is another chunky knit with a lovely textured pattern (if you look closely there are even little anchors discretly forming part of the pattern). They are available in a vibrant orange (called Hull) or Silver Grey.
Alexandra’s are constantly looking for ethically sourced goods which use organic cottons.
We believe that the organic cottons are softer making them more comfortable to wear. As well as being more kind to the environment. Cotton is considered one of the ‘dirtiest crops’ due to its heavy use of insecticides, the most hazardous pesticide to human and animal health. A third of a 1lb of pesticides are used to made a standard cotton t-shirt.
Seasalt have won many awards for their organic cotton products and are the largest seller of Soil Association certified products in the UK. Mudd and Water cottons are also Soil Association Certified.
Every season Seasalt produce vibrant prints in their range which are 95% Organic Cotton and 5% Elastane and this season has been no exception. We particularly love the Tianna T Shirts which have pretty patterns which are updated every season. They also do a lovely range of self coloured plain t shirts (Tallulah T shirt) which are in Organic Cotton.
Seasalt are still true to their Nautical routes and the perennial sailor tops which are 100% Organic cotton and modeled on the style made famous by Coco Chanel. These are a looser fit and a relaxed style.
Mudd and Water is still a relatively small label so they may not have the range of colours that Seasalt have but they are still excellent quality. To see the full range of Mudd and Water please click here.
To update the fleeces for this coming season why not co-ordinate them with a new Half a Day scarf from Seasalt. These scarves are made by Indian craftsmen and each one takes half a day to make.
The furry fleece fabric has also been used to make gilets and these are currently available in Kingfisher or Orca as part of the new seasons range (and at the time of typing just one left in Hessian in the sale).
