Dress to Impress

Our Late Summer Range is beginning to hit the store.  Coming back from your holidays you will need that Dress to Impress. The item of clothing must be something that will show off that marvelous tan you have acquired in some far flung regions of the world, or rust if you have to stay in the UK!

From Seasalt we have two beautiful dresses, the very popular Carnmoggas Style in Sponge Spot Bucket  (Sounds a bit like a cartoon character!).  The name does not do justice to this classic dress.  It has a gathered round neck, which is not too low, a waist band with the skirt falling, in soft jersey, to just below the knee.  The Sponge Spot refers to the spots in the design of the dress and the bucket I am assuming refers to the overall colour – which like our UK vactionneers, refers to the rust that must appear on a bucket.  This is a reddy brown colour and will certainly enhance your tan!  Alexandra’s of Keswick is now stocking a new dress from Seasalt, Stay Sail Dress in Breton Night Ecru. This dress is made from 100% Organic cotton and comes in a dark blue background with an ecru stripe, a scoop neck with inserts to the shoulder and pockets to the front, this heavy cotton dress could be worn through the Winter with a long sleeved t-shirt underneath.  It has a side fastening zip and is knee length.

From Adini there is the Eley Dress in Mushroom.  This easy to wear dress is made from 100% Cotton and simply pulls on.  It is covered in a geometric/abstract pattern of lines and solid shapes in a subtle mustard  and ecru on a grey (mushroom) background. It has a round neck and is fitted at the waist then falls to the knee.  It has 3/4 length sleeves and  is ideal for those chilly Summer Days and yet again could be worn into the Winter.   In addition to this, there is the Adini Mercer Dress, Moss Green.  This dress has a grey background and  is covered in two complementing shades of tiny green leaves interspersed with the odd leaf in mustard.  This is a long sleeved shift style dress with three panels to the front, handy pockets and two darts to the back to add shape.   As with all of Adini’s styles a timeless classic from their design team.

Our final offering is from Mistral, the Spacey Circle Dress in Eclipse.  This is a classic Mistral jersey cotton dress ideal to wear now for the Summer but with a long sleeved top and cardy also practical for the Winter.  A dark blue background is covered in the usual ‘spirograph’ design from Mistral.  The ‘circles’ are ecru. soft grey, light blue and mustard. It has a beautiful scoop neck, capped sleeves and a fitted high waist band, with the skirt falling  to the knee.  In the neck is a detailing of citrus green crochet.

We hope that these have impressed and look forward to seeing you, plus tan/rust soon in Keswick!
